Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled outside sales professional who is eager to promote the advantages of our products to prospective clients and demonstrate how our offerings surpass those of competitors.

While prior experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory due to our comprehensive Field Sales Engineer Training Program. The sales territories span across the United States and internationally, with this role focusing on the SW Ohio region. This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside within the designated territory, ideally in the Cincinnati area.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee sales activities within a defined territory, acting as the primary representative for all distributors and end users.
2. Develop a strategic business plan for the territory, identifying target accounts to achieve necessary sales growth, and collaborate with the regional sales manager for quarterly reviews.
3. Maintain and expand existing end user business at current accounts while supervising associated distributors.
4. Identify and cultivate new end user accounts, ensuring strong distributor relationships.
5. Assess and recommend adjustments to distributor stocking and discount programs to motivate sales performance.
6. Inspire distributor sales teams through product knowledge, application support, and promotional initiatives.
7. Maintain a high level of technical expertise regarding all company products and effectively communicate this knowledge to distributors and end users.
8. Develop OEM accounts as directed by the regional sales manager.
9. Stay informed about company sales policies and ensure distributors are updated on any changes.
10. Conduct workshops or seminars with distributors and end users as needed.
11. Ensure timely reporting of itineraries, expense reports, trial order records, and business reports to maintain effective communication.

Qualifications:
Education:
A two-year engineering or technology degree or equivalent work experience is required; a four-year degree is preferred.

Experience:
Background in machining is preferred, but training programs are available.

Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
