The Patient Services Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. This position is responsible for handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, responding to phone calls and addressing their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect payments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Perform data entry of service charges, including diagnostic codes and physician-related charges, to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Collaborate with the Central Billing Office to ensure all charges are captured and properly collected.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
