Job Overview

Ascension Lingerie and Swimsuit LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to support the design team in the development and execution of our intimate apparel collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the design process from concept to final product, ensuring timely completion and high-quality standards.
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of design documentation, including sketches, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Organize and manage fittings, sample reviews, and design meetings.
  • Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to track sample progress and production timelines.
  • Maintain and update the design archive and fabric library.
  • Support the design team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, organizing files, and managing correspondence.
  • Ensure the design office is a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a design or coordinator role, preferably in the fashion industry; intimate apparel experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and fabric properties.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
