ROLE OVERVIEW

The Financial Modeling Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting project financing initiatives and strategic modeling for solar and storage projects.

This position involves the creation and refinement of intricate financial models, assisting in transaction closures, and ensuring compliance with financial documentation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Utilize long-term forecasting models to evaluate potential capital projects through valuation methodologies, including IRR and NPV.
  • Support due diligence processes by reviewing and analyzing potential financing opportunities.
  • Engage in complex modeling tasks, including valuation creation, budget formulation, and assessment of financial structures for debt and tax equity.
  • Prepare and update HLBV and tracking models, along with analytical packages and group KPIs.
  • Guarantee the precision and dependability of all financial data within the models.
  • Conduct scenario planning and communicate findings related to PPA, Capital Investments, and Financing structures.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments and maintain organizational excellence in project timelines and deliverables.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A Bachelor's degree in finance, business, energy/environmental studies, or a related discipline.

Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the capability to learn company-specific software and tools.

Skills/Attributes: Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy; effective verbal and written communication abilities; foundational Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and functions; adept at analyzing complex data to inform decision-making; exceptional organizational capabilities; critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills; high self-motivation and the ability to resolve issues with minimal guidance.
