Job Description

We are seeking an experienced FSA with a strong background in health actuarial work to join our dynamic team in Seattle. As a key member of our practice, you will have the opportunity to perform analysis of healthcare data, write reports that explain technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience, manage projects through completion within an expected budget, supervise actuarial students and less-experienced actuaries, and develop client relationships and generate new business.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $209,000 per year, depending on factors such as education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, and location. Employees are also eligible for a bonus under our standard bonus policy, which can routinely exceed 40% of base salary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Seven to ten years of healthcare actuarial experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Some knowledge of SAS, SQL, or R
  • Strong understanding of the US healthcare system
  • Demonstrable skills in presenting technical concepts to a non-technical audience
