We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team at the YMCA of East Tennessee. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members, guests, and program participants.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Excellent Service: Respond to member and guest needs, promote memberships and programs, and maintain a clean and organized lobby area.
- Build Relationships: Build relationships with members, help members connect with one another and the YMCA, and conduct interviews and/or tours responsive to the needs of prospective members.
- Resolve Membership Concerns: Handle and resolve membership concerns and inform supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
- Operate DAXKO Systems: Proficient in DAXKO operations, including membership and program registrations, and proficient in Daxko Engage, including logging conversations with members each shift and utilizing and completing tasks.
- Follow YMCA Policies: Follow all YMCA policies, rules, regulations, and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures, and complete incident and accident reports as necessary.
- Qualifications: Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Applicants must be age 17+.
- Education and Experience: There are no education requirements. Need to have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people, and experience in multitasking.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
