Senior Administrative and Management Support Specialist

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative and Management Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative and management support, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Senior Administrative and Management Support Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior leaders, including coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence. They will also be responsible for maintaining databases of complex and confidential departmental information, and analyzing administrative and operational functions to identify areas for improvement.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in senior administrative and management support. They will also have superior oral and written communication skills, as well as a good command of the English language. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to senior leaders, including coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence.
- Maintain databases of complex and confidential departmental information.
- Analyze administrative and operational functions to identify areas for improvement.
- Collect and disseminate office policies, ensuring established standards and procedures are followed.
- Review and analyze incoming memorandums, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and prepare them for distribution.
- Assist in managing DOD, DCSA, and local office policies and programs.
- Correspondence drafting and routing.
- Travel planning (Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Conference room coordination.
- Office equipment and supply inventory maintenance.
- Government timecard program (DAI) management.
- Receipt and routing of office mail/correspondence.
- Management of task management (CATMS) or Task Management Tracker (TMT) systems.
- Assist in execution of office training program.
Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in senior administrative and management support.
- Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as a good command of the English language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The salary for this position will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
