Amentum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative and Management Support professional to join our team. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our senior leaders, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and the delivery of high-quality administrative services.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a liaison with other directorates, divisions, and departments, as well as outside agencies, to provide administrative support to our senior leaders.
- Answer large volumes of incoming phone calls, screen calls as required, and coordinate calendars and schedules for various individuals.
- Transcribe dictation into finished format or create a wide variety of documents, including reports, letters, memoranda, and presentations, using expert knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Maintain databases of complex and confidential departmental information, collect and review briefs and correspondence, and ensure compliance with DoD policies and regulations.
- Collect and disseminate office policies, review and analyze incoming memorandums, submissions, and reports, and prepare them for distribution.
- Analyze administrative and operational functions, review policies and procedures, and implement changes and system improvements as required.
- Compile information into a final product for the Quarterly Business Newsletter and assist in managing DOD, DCSA, and local office policies and programs.
- Assist in execution of office training programs and provide support for employee in- and out-processing, correspondence drafting and routing, travel planning, conference room coordination, office equipment and supply inventory maintenance, and government timecard program management.
- Manage task management systems, ensure senior leaders are informed, and summarize information from reports and taskers to identify trends.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) and 3 years of relevant senior administrative and management support experience, or 10 years of related work experience with a bachelor's degree.
- Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as a good command of the English language.
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with the Defense Travel System and timekeeping management programs.
- DCSA and DoD work experience.
Hiring hourly range: $28.85 (salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
