Housing Retention Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Housing Retention Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting individuals dealing with mental health issues, substance abuse challenges, or transitioning from homelessness to various BHA properties.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with property management and other site-based personnel to identify obstacles and provide direct support to tenants.
- Coordinate community services to prevent evictions and promote sustainable tenancy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to provide comprehensive support to tenants.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including premium medical insurance, dental and vision coverage, short and long-term disability insurance, and a 457 retirement plan.

- Knowledge of community resources and services, with the ability to connect tenants with relevant support.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
