As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will perform breast imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce high-quality breast images. The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures by providing clear instructions and maintaining proper positioning. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.

Responsibilities

Perform mammography examinations using high-quality equipment to produce clear images. Ensure patient comfort and safety by providing clear instructions and maintaining proper positioning. Assess images for clarity and accuracy, adjusting equipment settings as needed to obtain optimal results. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information. Maintain patient records, document procedures, and adhere to regulatory requirements for quality assurance.

Required Qualifications

CMT and ARRT certifications. BLS certification. Two years of recent experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. Strong communication and adaptability skills.
