Behavioral Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at The Learning Well. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential support to individuals with special needs, promoting their growth and development in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 daily support and assistance to clients with developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Shadow and assist in classroom settings, ensuring a smooth and productive learning experience
- Assist with daily routines, academic support, and hygiene needs as required
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various locations
- Availability to attend full-day New Hire Orientation and job-specific training
- Criminal and abuse/neglect background checks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
