Job Title: Manager, Digital Media & Communications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager, Digital Media & Communications. This role will be responsible for creating and overseeing the development and implementation of our social media efforts across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement social media strategies to increase our online presence and engagement
  • Develop and maintain our website content, including creating and designing e-newsletters and the digital program Pork Illustrated
  • Facilitate outgoing marketing efforts across social media platforms
  • Curate and post daily content on multiple channels
  • Oversee social media associates and the social media associate program
  • Work closely with the Vice President, Marketing & Entertainment on outbound marketing efforts, including creation and placement of digital and print advertising
  • Monetize social media efforts by creating additional marketing and revenue opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a database of online users across desired platforms
  • Track and report on metrics
  • Oversee special and unique technology-based projects as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the sports or entertainment industry as a Social Media Manager or comparable position
  • Proficiency in social media marketing, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of departments
  • Excellent team-oriented skills, commitment to company core values
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment while maintaining a positive mindset
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in social media with a proven track record
  • Strong familiarity with baseball
  • Self-motivated attitude with ability to work independently
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends when necessary
