Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide SMART customer service at all times, executing Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Seek out customers to understand their needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.
  • Listen to and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions, taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects when necessary.
  • Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers and communicate information regarding all stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs.
  • Coach, develop, provide feedback, and train associates in various departmental duties or sales opportunities.
  • Use a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines.
  • Provide proper monetary change to CSA Front End associates for register activities.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and support to CSA Front End Team (Front End/Loaders).
  • Remove security tags, verify product information, and bag merchandise for customers.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls or take messages as needed.
  • Open additional registers, when necessary, to ensure enough coverage always.
  • Assist in line vesting to help quicker turnaround time for checkout.
Requirements
  • Less than 1 year of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
  • 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, protection plans, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a head cashier.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
  • 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees.
  • Less than a year of retail experience detecting common signs of shoplifting (e.g., merchandise hidden inside of containers, merchandise under carts, price labels switched).
Pay Range

$24.50 per hour

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
