This is a critical role in the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions to meet their requirements. You will be responsible for promptly resolving customer concerns, ensuring maximum client satisfaction, and staying up-to-date with product features and maintaining high-quality visual standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
  • Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications
  • Stock shelves and set up displays
  • Clean store equipment
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Assist with deliveries as needed
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
  • Remain knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Suggest ways to improve sales
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be able to tint paint consistent with customer color requests
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends
