Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Senior Program Officer for Resettlement and plays a crucial role in supporting the Reception and Placement (RandP) team. The primary responsibility is to ensure adherence to the Department of State Cooperative Agreement and all associated requirements.

Key Responsibilities
The Program Officer will:

  • Maintain, develop, and distribute external-facing RandP materials.
  • Provide professional training and technical assistance, both in-person and online, to the LIRS network.
  • Lead RandP reporting efforts and ensure compliance with local community engagement mandates.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong data management skills, proficiency in technology, and a proven track record in delivering RandP services.

Work Environment
This position offers remote work flexibility, with occasional travel as necessary.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with the Department of State's Reception and Placement Program.
  • Experience working with refugees, immigrants, or limited English speakers in a case management role.
  • Strong data management and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.
