Job Summary
This role will assist registered nurses in providing high-quality patient care, performing various direct and indirect care duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist registered nurses in providing patient care, including vital signs, dressing changes, and other tasks as needed
- Conduct daily rounds to assess patient needs and report observations to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration and treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification also required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required
