Restaurant Operations Manager

As a Restaurant Operations Manager at Ampler Burgers, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and driving business results. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a high-performing team, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless execution of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and maintenance of a clean and safe environment.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest experiences through prompt service, quality food, and attentive staff.
  • Financial Management: Manage labor costs, inventory, and supplies to maintain profitability and efficiency.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: 1-2 years of restaurant management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Business Acumen: Basic understanding of financial management, marketing, and operational principles.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.

Working Conditions:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling. This position is very active, requiring occasional crawling and climbing. Ability to lift/move 50 pounds. Regular exposure to video terminal display. Travel in personal vehicle leading to exposure to all driving conditions and hazards. Frequent standing for long periods of time. Ability to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear and have the ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. Vision abilities of close vision, distance vision, and adjust focus. Ability to frequently taste or smell. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is usually loud.
