Position Summary
The role of an Electrical Project Manager is essential for the successful execution and oversight of large-scale electrical initiatives. This position serves as the main point of contact on-site, directing project teams, coordinating tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and scheduling standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary authority on-site, managing electrical project operations.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with General Foremen, field personnel, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance with established safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement project timelines, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
  • Review and interpret project documentation, ensuring accurate execution in line with specifications.
  • Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and workforce to maximize productivity and achieve project objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to General Foremen and field teams, fostering a cooperative work environment.
  • Implement quality assurance measures, conduct inspections, and ensure that work meets established standards and client expectations.
  • Manage project finances by tracking expenditures, overseeing budget allocations, and proactively controlling costs.
  • Maintain regular communication with Project Managers and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Address conflicts, resolve issues, and make critical decisions to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute insights during project planning sessions to facilitate effective project execution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in electrical construction to enhance project outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Experience in project scheduling, budget oversight, and resource management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward achieving project goals.
  • Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
  • Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety regulations.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.

Education and Experience
  • Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of electrical experience with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in management or leading teams is preferred.
