Key Responsibilities:
This position requires on-site presence.

  • Utilize design modeling software, including REVIT and AutoCAD, to create detailed 3D models of electrical system components, ensuring an understanding of their installation in the field.
  • Generate comprehensive drawings of electrical designs and plans for structures, adhering to specifications, sketches, and preliminary drafts.
  • Assist in the tracking, reproduction, and distribution of all drawings, specifications, sketches, and revisions.
  • Employ software to effectively produce charts, forms, and records tailored to specific project requirements.
  • Regularly coordinate with other design professionals and construction teams to mitigate errors arising from design flaws, thereby reducing time and costs associated with potential clashes.
  • Support construction project managers with file management and software functionalities.
  • Create detailed installation drawings to enhance the efficiency of field electricians.
  • Occasionally visit job sites to evaluate and assist with the application of drawings.
  • Conduct surveying as necessary to document existing conditions.
  • Develop Prefabrication Details and Bills of Materials for fabrication.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in observing or performing electrical construction.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to accurately interpret verbal and written instructions and translate them into effective design documents.
  • Technical proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting construction design drawings: Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical.
