About the Team
Join our expanding team focused on Designer, an AI-driven design service that has significantly improved and visualized billions of designs within the Microsoft ecosystem. Our team is based in a vibrant tech hub and is dedicated to enhancing the capabilities and scale of Designer, pushing the boundaries of machine learning to revolutionize presentation and design creation.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve working on machine learning (ML) initiatives across diverse areas such as natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision. You will utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) and Diffusion models to develop visual AI solutions tailored for Designer's clientele. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with engineering teams for model integration and maintenance.
- Developing algorithms and techniques that analyze and transform content through text, images, and video.
- Engaging with cross-functional teams including AI Research, product management, and user experience (UX) designers to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with 1 year of experience, or a Doctorate in a related field.
- Experience in projects related to Computer Vision and/or Information Retrieval.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience in Natural Language Processing projects.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- A record of top-tier publications.
- The ability to work collaboratively across various groups and disciplines.
Compensation
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year, with specific ranges applicable to certain locations.
