Certified Peer Support Specialist

Columbia River Mental Health Services is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Certified Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting socialization, recovery, self-advocacy, and community living skills for individuals and groups.
Key Responsibilities- Provide supportive counseling and engage with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized plans.
- Coordinate community involvement and connect clients with natural supports to promote recovery and socialization.
- Assist clients in setting and achieving daily well-being goals, and provide community living skills training.
- Facilitate groups and implement peer support services to promote socialization and recovery.
- Provide transportation to clients as needed.
- Peer Certification in the State of Washington is required.
- Experience with community outreach and engagement is preferred.
- Knowledge of Clark County community resources is preferred.
- Ability to obtain Jail Access is required.
Columbia River Mental Health Services offers a competitive salary range of $20.80 - $22.93 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan. We also offer opportunities for career development and education, including a $325 annual allowance for career development and education, and 40 hours of paid time off for career development and education.
