About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Operations Lead to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Fluids and Propulsion Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the overall execution of our engineering operations, ensuring that our products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage budgets, schedules, work breakdown structure, and program plans to ensure successful product delivery
  • Lead the execution of Agile project management methodologies, including week-to-week planning and tracking
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Fluids/Prop team and the Lunar Transportation program management office
  • Develop and maintain programmatic key performance metrics (cost, schedule, risk) and ensure alignment between the program level plan and team execution
  • Collaborate with NASA and National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program
Requirements
  • B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects/programs, including managing priorities, scope, schedule, integration, and cost
  • Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management, and Cost Account Management (EVM)
  • Experience with Agile project management methodology and JIRA software
  • Experience with P6 Primavera, MS Project, or similar scheduling software packages
  • Corporate and subcontract financial experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Desired Qualifications
  • MBA degree or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
  • Proficient with MS Excel capabilities, including Macros, Power Query, and Power Pivot
  • Basic programming skills
  • Experience in leading complex, highly integrated products
  • Conversational in fluids and propulsion system technical details

At Blue Origin, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $133,200-$195,360, depending on location.
