Customer Service Representative

Blue Star Glass is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring timely execution of orders, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with customers regarding orders, production, pricing, quotes, and company capabilities.
- Accurately enter customer orders into our order entry software and verify accuracy.
- Ensure customer acknowledgements of orders and technical documents are accurately received and recorded.
- Process quotes and liaise between the Estimation Department and Customers to ensure timely adherence to project cut-offs.
- Track customer interactions through fax, email, and phone.
- Coordinate with production teams to meet customer deadlines.
- Assist with and resolve customer inquiries regarding service delays, delivery status, re-orders, and working with clients and co-workers collaboratively to ensure best resolution to the problem.
- Associates degree or above, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Attention to detail; good memory.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Highly organized, self-starter with the ability to think on their feet.
- 1+ years' experience in customer-facing roles.
- Experience in the glass industry a significant plus but not required.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- CAD experience a plus.
- Strong eagerness to improve, learn, and grow within the industry.
- Customer-centric approach.
