Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Blue Star Glass is seeking a highly motivated and organized Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring timely execution of orders, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, production, pricing, quotes, and company capabilities.
  • Accurately enter customer orders into our order entry software and verify accuracy.
  • Ensure customer acknowledgements of orders and technical documents are accurately received and recorded.
  • Process quotes and liaise between the Estimation Department and customers to ensure timely adherence to project cut-offs.
  • Track customer interactions through fax, email, and phone.
  • Coordinate with production teams to meet customer deadlines.
  • Assist with and resolve customer inquiries regarding service delays, delivery status, re-orders, and working with clients and co-workers collaboratively to ensure best resolution to the problem.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree or above, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Attention to detail; good memory.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Highly organized, self-starter with the ability to think on their feet.
  • 1+ years' experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in the glass industry a significant plus but not required.
