Project Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Safety Specialist to join our team at Nevell Group. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees and contractors on our projects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in safety management and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with project managers, foremen, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety plans and procedures for all projects
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety performance and provide guidance to staff
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and deliver training programs
  • Manage safety documentation and records

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., safety, environmental science, engineering)
  2. OSHA certification or equivalent experience
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety-related role

Salary:$70,000 - $75,000 per year
