Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Programs Manager to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in sanitation and a proven track record of ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation Standards Compliance: Develop and implement sanitation standards that meet or exceed regulatory requirements and internal company standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of sanitation auditors to ensure that all production equipment and facilities are in a sanitary condition prior to being placed into service.
  • Auditing and Corrective Action: Conduct regular audits of facility, GMP, and safety standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Quality Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement of sanitation performance, and serve as a liaison with USDA Inspectors regarding sanitation-related non-conformance reports and corrective action plans.
  • Project Management: Manage assigned projects and programs to ensure timely results, including coordinating with other internal and external department personnel, managing the review, storage, and archiving of related documents, creating new documents, revising existing documents, determining training needs, and facilitating such training.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year BS degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment; 5+ years related food industry experience preferred.
  • Certifications: HACCP, FSMA (PCQI), and Better Process Control School certified preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership abilities, strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, proficient knowledge of KPIs and data analysis, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with various levels of plant staff, effective presentation and training skills.
Working Conditions
  • The working environment includes both office and plant floor settings.
  • Exposure to industrial noise, forklift traffic, moving mechanical parts, and temperature extremes occur in operating areas of the plants.
  • Ability to move in and around equipment to include use of stairs and ladders.
  • Travel estimated at 5% or less.
Compensation and Benefits

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $72,900-$117,300. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
