Myticas Consulting is currently looking for a skilled Multimedia Technician to provide expert technical support for multimedia solutions. This role involves the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of advanced audio-visual systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve support tickets to ensure exceptional client service.
- Utilize established procedures to troubleshoot and escalate issues as necessary.
- Maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual, video conferencing, and audio conferencing systems of moderate complexity.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to address technical challenges.
- Assist in the installation, setup, monitoring, testing, and maintenance of conferencing technologies, including video, audio, and network components.
- Coordinate scheduling and communications for video conferencing and audio-visual meetings.
- Support recording functions and multimedia distribution.
- Contribute to the development of audio, video, and data conferencing solutions using various components.
- Operate in-room cameras for streaming events and provide support for complex meetings.
- Consult with clients to ascertain technical requirements for programs and assist with production as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies for event production.
- Provide training and consulting services on effective use of audio-visual equipment.
- Document equipment failures and schedule maintenance as required.
- Identify needs for backup equipment and implement solutions proactively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in a related role.
Skills Required:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Intermediate technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficient in diagnosing advanced video-related connection issues.
- Understanding of audio-visual infrastructure and its implementation.
- Familiarity with streaming software and platforms, including OBS.
- Knowledge of lighting, audio, and camera equipment for live streaming.
This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and possess a strong technical background in multimedia technologies.
