Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with substance abuse issues.
  • Conduct group and individual counseling sessions to educate clients on substance abuse prevention and treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients as they work to overcome substance abuse issues.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in substance abuse counseling.
  • Certification as an AOD Counselor or a related certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
