Job DescriptionHealthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide mental health services to inmates/wards in a correctional facility. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including assessments of criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect the standard of practice
  • Provide crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews with mentally ill patient-inmates/youths
  • Write clinical reports and consult with supervisors, treatment team members, and correctional institutional health care personnel
  • Document all care provided to inmates, including face-to-face contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings

Requirements:

  • Minimum of twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years performing services similar in scope to those defined herein, in a public or private institution
  • LCSWs must have the required licenses, permits, and/or certifications
  • Proficient in English
