The Facility Solutions Manager oversees the operational activities within a designated client service area. This role focuses on B2B account management and involves providing field support, which includes training, onboarding new clients, conducting inspections of contractor performance, addressing customer inquiries and complaints, coordinating site visits, and fostering long-term relationships with both clients and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of assigned client relationships, focusing on retention, growth, and diversification of City Wide's facility solutions and products.
- Develop and implement an effective service strategy tailored to each client's needs.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements with clients for additional services, including pricing, staffing, and logistics.
- Manage contractor relationships, including recruitment, pricing negotiations, compliance verification, and service specification development.
- Ensure high standards of quality and client satisfaction through thorough quality control inspections and consistent follow-through on commitments.
- Supervise Night Managers to ensure the execution of client strategies and proper service delivery.
- Facilitate the procurement and monitoring of supplies for clients.
- Communicate effectively with contractors and the Director of Operations regarding client issues, addressing any problems promptly.
- Utilize City Wide's CRM for client inspections, billing adjustments, and routing.
- Schedule non-routine activities at client facilities using appropriate tools.
- Maintain up-to-date Building Information Sheets (BIS), FSM Summary Sheets, and ensure accurate labeling of materials in janitorial closets.
- Inform Sales Executives of potential new accounts, particularly in new construction.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Night Managers to address client complaints and service deficiencies.
- Review and approve pay sheets for Night Managers and Service Representatives, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist the Accounting department in collecting overdue invoices from clients and contractors.
- Keep updated route sheets, key/alarm sheets, and monthly planners for each client.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside B2B account management, preferably in building maintenance or facility management.
- Proven track record in client retention roles.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through on commitments.
- Outgoing personality with strong relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM databases.
- Willingness to travel daily to client locations.
