Pilot is a leader in modernizing the back office for small businesses. As an Account Executive on our Scale Team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue expansion. We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team and contribute to our mission of revolutionizing financial management.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a seasoned founding team that has led companies through successful startups and acquisitions. You will be responsible for achieving and consistently exceeding sales goals by closing new business and owning the full cycle of pre-signature sales. This includes nurturing leads & partners, creating opportunities through prospecting efforts, and winning the deal.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our executive and founding team, providing constructive and actionable feedback to drive business growth. Your expertise will help shape the future of Pilot's financial and bookkeeping service offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve and consistently exceed sales goals by closing new business
  • Owning the full cycle of pre-signature sales, including nurturing leads & partners, creating opportunities through prospecting efforts, and winning the deal
  • Present and demonstrate the value of Pilot's products and services to prospective buyers
  • Deeply understand and own the information regarding Pilot's financial and bookkeeping service offerings
  • Rigorously manage and maintain lead queues and opportunity pipeline
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and detailed professional with exceptional oral and written communication skills. You should have:

  • 2+ years in a quota-carrying role in either a pre-sales or post-sales setting
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
  • General aptitude in how money moves in and out of a business
  • Gritty, determined, self-starter mentality
  • Previous fintech experience preferred

The on-target earnings (OTE) range target for this role is $142k - $214k for San Francisco, CA. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits.
