Racetrack Maintenance Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Racetrack Maintenance professional to join our team at PENN Entertainment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our racing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with track surface maintenance and care for racing and training purposes.
- Maintain the safety lane for racing and training purposes.
- Preserve the paddock hills from ruts and washouts.
- Remove snow in a timely manner.
- Operate various vehicles, including trucks, graders, tractors, water trucks, skid steers, and front-end loaders.
- Ensure the horse ambulance is ready and functioning for daily racing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum one (1) year of facilities maintenance experience in racing or similar work environment.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent and literate in English.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and/or finishing trades.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Collaborative and effective communication skills with team members at all levels.
- Ability to safely operate all equipment.
