Facial Plastic Surgery Faculty Position

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota is inviting applications for a full-time position for a board-certified or board-eligible surgeon at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, either on the academic or clinician track, depending on qualifications and interests.
The ideal candidate will have successfully completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and will demonstrate a strong interest and expertise in facial plastic surgery, particularly in Rhinoplasty, Facial Rejuvenation, Soft Tissue Reconstruction, and Facial Trauma. A commitment to developing a comprehensive practice and fostering relationships with local healthcare providers is essential. Additionally, a passion for educating residents, medical students, and fellows is crucial. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Minnesota and authorized to work in the United States. Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited ACGME Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency program.
- Successful completion of a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship.
- Eligibility or certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
- Proven expertise and interest in facial plastic surgery, particularly in Rhinoplasty, Facial Rejuvenation, Soft Tissue Reconstruction, Facial Trauma, and Skin Resurfacing.
- A strong enthusiasm for teaching residents, medical students, and fellows.
- Active engagement in clinical and/or basic science research to enhance the knowledge base of the specialty.
- Professionalism demonstrated through community service and involvement in academic societies.
- A drive and passion to expand and develop a practice both within the academic setting and in private practice.
