Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a skilled project leader to become a vital part of our team, supporting critical Cyber IT Enterprise Services. This role is essential for ensuring effective contingency planning, operational execution, and security measures across various regions.

The selected candidate will be expected to:

  • Analyze, design, engineer, and coordinate telecommunications systems and infrastructure
  • Conduct engineering assessments related to equipment and applications, utilizing advanced methodologies
  • Ensure the successful delivery of programs to clients, or oversee project tasks as part of a broader initiative under the guidance of a senior project manager
  • Integrate and manage activities in line with contractual obligations, ensuring adherence to technical, scheduling, financial, and performance standards
  • Establish or contribute to the program baseline and execute the project in compliance with established requirements
  • Oversee risk management, client relations, and staffing for the program
  • Guarantee adherence to quality benchmarks and escalate any challenges to SAIC leadership
  • Assist in business development and management of program personnel
  • Direct and manage operational IT infrastructure functions involving multiple complex project tasks
  • Supervise various technical task leaders to ensure system functionality, availability, and compliance
  • Maintain senior-level client interactions to foster strong relationships
  • Contribute to operational goals by providing insights and recommendations for strategic planning
  • Promote the adoption of industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop and implement action plans, ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met while addressing issues and conducting evaluations
  • Identify trends, assess system enhancements, and implement changes to boost customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • DoD 8570 certification (minimum IAM Level III)
  • ITIL V3/V4 Certification
  • At least six years of experience managing intricate programs
  • A minimum of three years in a leadership role
  • Experience in planning and executing both local and long-distance communications
  • Experience in supporting operations centers with a large customer base and integrating service providers
  • Proven experience leading teams of network, system, and architecture engineers

Preferred:

  • Experience with DoD Information Assurance policies and their implications on network architecture
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT Operations Management and KPI/SLA management with a focus on enhancing customer experience
