WBW Development is seeking a Civil Engineering Trainee to become an integral part of our dynamic workforce. In this role, you will participate in a variety of projects, gaining practical experience in both residential and site development. You will play a key role in adhering to regulatory design standards, making informed decisions, and offering expert insights on infrastructure, planning, and design.

As a trainee, you will have direct access to seasoned Professional Engineers (PEs) and Project Managers (PMs), along with regular interactions with senior management and decision-makers. Prepare to immerse yourself in our in-house development and construction initiatives, gaining unparalleled exposure across various sectors. At WBW, we focus on nurturing engineers into subject matter experts and thought leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in feasibility studies for potential project acquisitions.
  • Support the production of detailed design plans for regulatory agency submissions and approvals.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers during site assessments, bid document preparation, and submittal evaluations.
  • Contribute to engineering documentation, design calculations, and innovative design proposals.
  • Stay updated on the latest regulations and criteria from local, state, and federal regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated success in engineering coursework.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning, expanding responsibilities, and self-motivation.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous engineering internship, co-op, or relevant work experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
