Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Heart Surgery Specialist to join our comprehensive Cardiac Surgery program. This is a full-time day-shift position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work in an exciting environment with a broad scope of practice, performing a wide range of tasks in cardiac surgery.
- Collaborate with a high level of autonomy, supported by Cardiac Surgeons and Cardiovascular Critical Care Intensivists, to provide exceptional care.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team of 31 PAs/NPs and 7 Cardiac Surgeons, working on upwards of 1400 cases annually.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of critical care experience, preferably in a Cardiac Surgery setting.
- Master's Degree preferred; successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
- Current ACLS and BLS certification.
