In certain regions, this position may involve extensive transaction handling. Additional responsibilities include:
- Establishing a robust performance management system that clearly defines expectations and responsibilities while monitoring staff performance.
- Implementing security measures to safeguard against fraudulent activities and mitigate unnecessary risks.
- Guiding team members and showcasing the skills necessary to identify customer needs, promote referrals, and expand service offerings; ensuring adherence to banking service standards for timely and accurate customer service.
- Managing staffing levels to guarantee adequate coverage, including supervisory roles.
- Facilitating the execution of sales and service initiatives to meet defined sales targets.
- Ensuring compliance with audits, internal controls, and expense management to minimize risks and losses.
- Collaborating with the banking center manager to set retail sales targets and achieve individual sales objectives.
- Position requires work to be conducted on-site at the banking center.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking and supervisory roles, depending on the complexity of the banking center; experience in customer service and operations is essential.
Skills:
- Strong personal leadership abilities; capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations; effective communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations and follow complex written instructions.
- Willingness to travel to various locations for work-related tasks and meetings as necessary.
- Occasional work beyond 40 hours per week may be required to fulfill essential job functions.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. in an office environment.
- Capability to swiftly transition between multiple workstations.
