Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at The Children\u0027s Clinic. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Program, you will provide psychosocial evaluation and treatment, advocacy, crisis intervention, case management, referrals to community services, and assist with program planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of adult and pediatric patients with complex social, financial, cultural, and psychological issues.
  • Provide short-term counseling services in multiple modalities, including in-person, telephonic, and video.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, documenting patient progress in accordance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with Behavioral Health, Medical, and Administrative staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain knowledge of community services available in the area and attend community meetings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master\u0027s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology from an accredited university.
  • Active registration or license with Board of Behavioral Sciences ACSW/AMFT/LCSW/LMFT Registration in good standing.
  • Earning clinical hours towards licensure as an LCSW or LMFT.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as a team member in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Demonstrated competency in strategic planning, critical thinking, negotiation, and organization skills.
