We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at Illuminate Psychotherapy, Inc. in Long Beach, CA.

Job Summary:

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work closely with our experienced therapists to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and preparing treatment plans, as well as providing individual, family, and couples therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose clients to develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide 45-50 minute individual, family, or couples therapy sessions
  • Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours of each session
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision and mentoring
  • Manage a caseload of up to 20 clients per week

Requirements:

  • Active CA BBS AMFT registration number
  • An electronic device for telehealth appointments
  • Current CA BBS requirements as an AMFT
  • Malpractice insurance (1M/3M aggregate)
  • Ability to commute to office for in-person sessions

Compensation:

$33-40 per hour, depending on experience

Preferred Specializations:

EMDR, DBT, CBT, Gottman Couples Therapy

Preferred Availability:

Monday through Friday, 8am-8pm; Saturdays, 8-12pm
