Job Summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of providing compassionate and personalized care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Montana Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • National Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing (within one year of hire).
  • One year of nursing experience.
