About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, and evaluating patients' physical and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Montana Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Within 90 days of hire: Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Within 90 days of hire: Provider PALS - American Heart Association certification.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
