Providence is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to medical and surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and report patient condition to physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Montana Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- National Certification in area of specialty (unless otherwise indicated).
