About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Montana Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Provider PALS - American Heart Association certification within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty is preferred, unless otherwise indicated.
