Emergency Medical Technician

About the Role
Mission Health is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing critical life support patient care, advanced airway management, and transport management. You will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of emergency vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform critical life support patient care, including advanced airway management and transport management.
- Assume responsibility for the operation and maintenance of emergency vehicles.
- Provide patient care and transport services in a fast-paced emergency environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and techniques through ongoing education and training.
- EMT-P certification.
- North Carolina driver's license and must meet insurance guidelines.
- Must obtain ITLS or PHTLS, BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP within one year of employment.
- Must have a valid NC driver's license or procure one within 30 days of employment unless an out-of-state commuter, at least two years of satisfactory driving experience and be at least 21 years of age to meet the Mission Health established insurance guidelines.
- One year of full-time active pre-hospital care or equivalent.
- National Registry, UMBC CCEMT-P certification.
