Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech Mission Imaging Services to join our team at Mission Health. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job SummaryThe Ultrasound Tech Mission Imaging Services will operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician. You will be responsible for accomplishing patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to think independently, and the capacity to assess emergency situations accurately.
Responsibilities- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts
- Accomplish patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner
- Assess emergency situations accurately and take appropriate action
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire
- Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI required upon hire
- High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN
- BCLS certified
