Job Title: Certified Construction Materials Technician I

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Construction Materials Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of construction projects.

Job Summary:

The Certified Construction Materials Technician I will work under the supervision of a registered professional engineer to perform inspections and sampling services on construction sites. You will be responsible for collecting and testing concrete, soil, and other site materials, as well as monitoring general contractor activities. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in preparing accurate and comprehensive reports for submission to project engineers.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections and sampling services on construction sites
  • Collect and test concrete, soil, and other site materials
  • Monitor general contractor activities
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports for submission to project engineers
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure quality and integrity of construction projects
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Motor Vehicle Driving history (3 years)
  • Ability to work outdoors on a construction site in all seasons and weather conditions for extended periods of time
  • Self-motivated and able to efficiently work independently while completing scheduled tasks
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Basic knowledge in the operation of smartphones and computers for communication and record keeping (MS Office applications Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • ACI certification
  • NICET certification
  • ICC certification (Soils Inspector, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry Special Inspector)
