Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our team as a Welding and Machine Tool Faculty member. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in welding and machine tool technology, as well as providing guidance and support to students in the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training in welding and machine tool technology
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and industry partners
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in welding and machine tool technology
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program assessments and evaluations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Three years of experience in welding and machine tool technology, with a focus on education and training
  • Strong knowledge of welding and machine tool technology, including safety protocols and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation
  • Knowledge of industry certifications and standards
  • Experience with adult education and training
