Credit Risk Analytics Manager

Seacoast Bank is seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analytics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our credit risk management team, you will be responsible for developing and managing credit risk reporting for executive management, Board of Directors, regulators, and public disclosures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement credit risk reporting strategies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of credit data to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the performance of the credit risk analytics team in the timely completion of analyses and reporting for the organization.
  • Synthesize credit data to provide trend analysis and risk conclusions for management, Board, and regulatory reports.
  • Provide analytical insights for executive management and the Board of Directors on credit trends and emerging risks in portfolios.
  • Collaborate with lines of business, accounting, and finance associates to ensure uniform application of credit risk reporting.
Credit Data Governance:
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of credit data.
  • Standardize credit data definitions and classifications to ensure effective documentation and tracking of credit data.
  • Work with analytics teams and data originators to ensure consistency of use of credit data assets.
  • Partner with lines of business to address root causes of data quality issues.
Leadership and People Development:
  • Develop and manage a high-performing team of credit risk analytics professionals.
  • Mentor and coach team members to ensure their professional development and growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of credit risk reporting.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in credit risk management, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, and programming languages, such as Python and SQL.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
