Role Summary:
The HSE Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all personnel at Noble Casing, Inc., Noble Drilling, LLC., and Noble Trucking LLC. are equipped with the necessary HSE training, tools, and leadership to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
This position requires collaboration with management across all divisions to guarantee that employees are held accountable for achieving positive HSE outcomes and are well-prepared to fulfill their HSE responsibilities.
The HSE Coordinator is tasked with implementing strategies to minimize potential risks across all sites and providing support for Employee/On-Boarding Safety Training to ensure that training materials are accurate, compliant, and effectively delivered to both new and existing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive HSE culture within the organization to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions to prevent injuries and minimize environmental impacts.
- Assist in the development and management of HSE procedures, programs, and documentation for Casing, Drilling, and Trucking operations.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and data integrity across all Noble locations to support reporting and metrics for HSE initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with safety standards as per OSHA and state regulations.
- Facilitate the demonstration, testing, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct inspections of safety equipment and emergency response tools on a regular basis.
- Perform safety audits and inspections, documenting findings and collaborating with the HSE Director to address any issues.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, compiling reports to identify root causes and preventive measures.
- Engage in trend analysis and site inspections to evaluate operational procedures and safety practices.
Emergency Response:
In emergency situations, the HSE Coordinator is expected to act promptly to manage hazardous materials and waste in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Safety Training Coordinators as needed.
- Assist management in identifying potential risks during facility walkthroughs.
- Participate in special projects as directed by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of direct HSE experience, preferably in the oil and gas, manufacturing, or field service sectors. A basic understanding of regulatory requirements is essential.
Experience in conducting HSE audits and training is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field is preferred. Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional or Certified Occupational Safety Specialist are desirable.
Travel Requirements:
Approximately 25% travel may be necessary to support HSE activities across various locations.
