Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at ECHN. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician examinations and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with administrative and clinical duties, including scheduling appointments and handling phone calls
  • Perform EKGs and Spirometry as ordered by physicians
  • Report lab results to patients and follow up with physician instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to CLIA regulations
  • Participate in Patient Centered Medical Home Care Team collaborations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification or experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced confidential medical environment and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish and maintain a safe work environment
